The IPC-A-610 norm, whose official title is “acceptability of electronic assemblies”, allows the detection and correction of defects in the realization of class 1, 2 and 3 electronic boards.

The IPC/WHMA-A-620 norm, whose wording is “requirements and acceptability criteria for the interconnection of wire and cable harnesses” makes it possible to detect and correct defects in wire and cable harnesses in electronic production.
